Join Art Mentors at our Huntington Beach studio to draw world-class models while enjoying great wine, snacks and music. Practice your drawing skills and mingle with fellow students and the Art Mentors staff.
This class will consist of both figure drawing and head drawing. Models will begin with short dynamic poses, and progress to longer poses. Models will alternate from week to week, and will include males and females. Artists can choose between standing at an easel or sitting at a drawing horse/bench.
This class is included with your purchase of any other Art Mentors course in the Fall 2016 Term. If you are not enrolled in another course, purchase the Ten Week Pass to give you access to Drink and Draw for the entire term. Alternatively, we are now offering a Drop-In Rate of $25/day.
New Masters Academy founder Joshua Jacobo will host and be available to help one-on-one with your work. There are only 20 seats available for this event, and we expect that space will fill up fast, so sign up now to avoid missing out.
This is an open class so any materials are fine, but here are some recommendations:
Drawing board 18 x 24 smooth newsprint (must be smooth)
18 x 24 tracing paper
Charcoal pencils:

Sales are non-refundable, but in some cases we can switch a student’s enrollment in a class that has not yet started to another class of equal or lesser value.
Art Mentors reserves the right to cancel, limit enrollment, substitute instructors or models, reschedule, or modify a class without notice to enrolled students.
If a class is canceled, enrolled students will be given a refund.
If an instructor is unable to finish a class term, a refund will be given to students at a pro-rated amount.

A.Yes, because there will be alcohol present all attendees must be at least 21 years old or be accompanied by a parent.

A.We will be serving a rotating selection of reds and whites as well as a variety of cheeses, crackers, and breads.

A.We will have music played over a sound system rather than a live musical performance.
