We are excited to be holding a long pose painting workshop for the first time, hosted by figurative artist and Art Mentors instructor, Charles Hu!
A dedicated teacher and painter, Charles will use his knowledge of composition, lighting, and color to stage the model and scene. There will be a new pose each week, and will alternate between costume and nude. Charles will be available for questions and feedback, assisting students on common problems such as proportion, color mixing, and composition.
Not interested in painting? No problem! You are welcome to work in any medium you like if you choose to attend.
You can purchase access to all 8 sessions for $149, or pay the drop-in rate of $25 when you arrive at each session.

Sales are non-refundable but in some cases we can switch a student’s enrollment in a class that has not yet started to another class of equal or lesser value. Art Mentors reserves the right to cancel, limit enrollment, substitute instructors or models, reschedule, or modify a class without notice to enrolled students. If a class is canceled, enrolled students will be given a refund. If an instructor is unable to finish a class term, a refund will be given to students at a pro-rated amount.

A.These sessions are uninstructed. There are no lessons or class curriculum. However, the host of the event will be available to participants for questions and feedback.

A.This event is for all levels, from the total beginner to the working professional artist.

Q.Is there an age limit on who can attend this class?
A.Because we will be working with nude models, attendees must be 18 years of age or older or have permission to attend from a parent or guardian.

A.Yes, you may pay the drop-in rate of $25/session when you arrive.
