Mark Westermoe is a renowned artist, illustrator, and instructor. In this class, Mark will share his knowledge of the Reilly Method and how students can use it to create beautiful figure drawings. You will learn how to lay-in and construct the figure, how to simplify and design the anatomy, and how to use light, shadow, and edge control to create 3-dimensional form in your drawings.

You will benefit from Mark’s generous teaching style as he provides informative lectures and fully rendered demonstrations. Full Access participants can upload photos of their weekly work into the class chatroom and get a full critique from Mark, where he will trace over your drawings and provide individualized feedback. You can watch the recordings on your own time, and you do not have to participate in the critiques if you don’t want to.

The class recording will be available for your viewing every Thursday at 7:00pm PST. You will receive online access to the recording of the lecture portion for one year or six months depending on your purchase plan. This is helpful to reinforce the principles of each week, and to catch any concepts you may have missed the first time around.
