Constructive Head Drawing with Glenn Vilppu
This class is now over. You will have access to the video recordings and reference photos, but you cannot submit your work for critique from the instructor.
Glenn Vilppu’s unique approach to head drawing will guide students through the process of constructing the head. The class will focus on the anatomical structures of the skull and face, and how to simplify the head into planes. Along with structure and anatomy, students will learn how to draw realistic features and expressions. Glenn will also share his tools and techniques for lighting, shading, and describing the forms of the head.
A generous and friendly teacher, Glenn will lecture on his iPad Pro which will be screen-shared to a large television set for the whole class to see. Afterwards, Glenn will move around the room, working with each student individually. Online-only students can also submit their work to get critiques directly from Glenn.
All enrolled students will also receive online access to the recording of the lecture portion for one year. This is helpful to reinforce the principles of each week, and to catch any concepts you may have missed the first time around.
I liked the course but I wish that it were a bit longer.
