Product Description

Join Art Mentors in sunny Surf City (Huntington Beach) Southern California for this fun and informative figure painting workshop!

In this workshop, you will learn to paint the figure from life! Students will be encouraged to build the sense of form from the largest masses first, to create a sense of finish before small details are added. Basic geometric shapes will be used to describe forms of the human body to give the painting a convincing sense of form, as well as giving the student more confidence in painting directly from the model.

This workshop is 5 days long, from 9 AM to 4 PM. There will be a one-hour lunch break each day. Feel free to bring your own lunch or enjoy plenty of local dining options. For students traveling from out of town, we will be happy to help if you need accommodation advice. Call us at 1 (714) 375-2233 or email us at mentors@artmentors.com.
